About the Role

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) leads the company’s commercial strategy, ensuring sales, marketing, product development, and customer service work effectively and in alignment with revenue targets that drive sustainable growth. With a strong focus on B2B expansion and revenue optimization, the CCO strengthens customer relationships, enhances market reach, and ensures seamless alignment across all business functions.

Expected Outcomes

  1. Revenue Growth: Increase revenue through effective go-to-market strategies, new customer acquisitions, and reduced churn.
  2. Customer Engagement: Deepen customer relationships, improve client experience, and enhance customer lifecycle engagement.
  3. Operational Efficiency: Develop scalable processes that align with strategic goals and streamline commercial functions.
  4. Brand Positioning: Position the company as an industry leader with differentiated, high-value offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the commercial strategy across multiple functions, including sales, marketing, and customer support.
  • Revenue and Growth Management: Drive the company’s growth agenda, ensuring consistent revenue and margin improvements.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster executive-level relationships with clients, enhancing brand loyalty and customer retention.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and develop the Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams to achieve exceptional, customer-centric outcomes.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and expand into new markets and customer segments, leading market-entry strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize analytics to monitor and optimize commercial performance against key metrics.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Ideally 10+ years in a senior commercial role, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM and analytics tools, with a data-centric approach to decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, with experience in client and executive presentations.
