Marketing, PR, & Events Coordinator

Description

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Marketing, PR, & Events Coordinator — a self-starter capable of building systems and processes with limited existing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, resourceful professional who can build and run an effective marketing function largely from the ground up. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in a technical environment, enjoys writing about complex subjects for specialized audiences, and wants to see the direct results of their work.

You will own the company's external voice: digital presence, trade media, conference strategy, customer communications, and government / regulatory awareness campaigns. You will work closely with the sales team to support the full customer journey, from lead generation to case studies and retention.

The right candidate will have a strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn complex scientific and engineering concepts while being comfortable operating in a small-team environment where responsibilities may evolve. You have excellent organizational and prioritization skills and thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

High level of professionalism and communication skills when interacting with technical experts, customers, government representatives, and industry partners.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical communications

This is a full-time, on-site role reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. It may be based in either Truro or Halifax, Nova Scotia.
